Mother's Day is right around the corner, and Save the Children is out with its annual report on the state of the world's mothers.
Looking at health, education and economic conditions for women and children in 165 countries, the organization has declared Norway the best country for mothers, and Niger the worst, replacing Afghanistan for the first time in two years.
The United States was ranked #25, up six spots from last year.
Of the bottom 10 countries, seven are in the middle of a food crisis and in Niger, a million children are at risk, according to the organization.
