Model Arizona Muse Is Tired Of Your Silly Questions

Getting too big for her britches is generally not good for a model’s career. But getting too big for her metaphorical britches is a whole other thing entirely. Remember Linda Evangelista’s claim that she wouldn’t get out of bed for less $10,000? Add amazingly named Arizona Muse to the list of, well, shall we say, confident models.
A blogger for Styleite approached Muse backstage at the David Yurman show last night. Here’s how Styleite says part of the exchange went down:

Styleite: Hi, Arizona. We’d love to ask you just a few quick questions!
Arizona: OK. But before you record (we were already recording) would you mind telling me what questions you’re going to ask me?
Styleite: Um (stops recording). Sure! We were going to ask you about your plans for the rest of Fashion’s Night Out, what your plans are for Fashion Week and what shows you’re walking in. Then I was going to ask about what it was like working with David Yurman and what your favorite past campaigns are. And then maybe what you like about New York. Is that OK?
Arizona: OK. Could you pick two of them so there … aren’t so many questions?

Ha! It’s not unusual for a publicist to ask about the general direction of questioning before they approve an interview, but it’s definitely rare to have an interview subject demand pre-approval on the spot. The request is especially absurd in an industry in which – no offense, fashion reporters! – interviews are not usually of the ball-busting variety. But what would fashion week be without some ridiculous model moments?
